The Heart of the Earth

Where Reserva Caoba, the place that called to us to support us to hold this sacred space, is located at. This is considered one of the most sacred territories in South America by many of the Indigenous Peoples that live throughout the southern continent. Nestled in the jungles of the Colombian paradisiac coast, we will deepen our connection to our hearts within "The Heart of the Earth".

Here, you’ll be transported to a captivating realm of dense, unspoiled nature, nestled within the majestic Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range. Designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site in 1979, this extraordinary area gained further recognition in November 2022 when UNESCO honored the Ancestral Knowledge System of the four indigenous peoples of the Sierra Nevada as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

ABOUT RESERVA CAOBA

“Located in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta we are a successful reforestation project and eco lodge, working with and for the local ecosystem, with sustainability being our priority.”

"We are a biological reserve, sustainability project and accommodation. The name CAOBA comes in honor of the Mahogany tree. In Colombia, Mahogany is a practically extinct tree due to its very fine wood. Among the trees that we contribute for reforestation, Mahogany is the tree that we donate the most."

"We are a successful reforestation project, with a wide collection of trees, palms, succulents, cacti and medicinal plants. We offer not just a space for regenerative tourism, but also a space where we all can share environmental experiences and knowledge."

Nourished by the Earth

Food that is absolutely decadent, fresh and custom to your needs, lovingly and carefully prepared with local ingredients, and garden-to-table.

"Our dinners are always vegetarian or vegan.  We support the farmers of the region by buying the producers directly from them. 

We use plants that grow on the reserve for  cooking and in our medicinal teas."

They can also add animal protein to your meals if you prefer. 

All meal preferences and dietary restrictions will be talked about during your call to reserve.

Camila Bruce (Cami Luminous)

Born in Colombia and now residing in Colorado since 2014, Camila, fondly known as Cami, has been a retreat host since 2021. She is a Certified Women's Guidance Facilitator, Certified Angelic Spiritual Coach and a Certified Holy Fire® World Peace Reiki Master, accredited by the ICRT. With a BA in Fine Arts and over 24 years as a professional photographer, Cami is also Certified level 1 Apprentice in Celtic Shamanism by the Centre for Shamanism. 

She is the founder of LUMINOUS, a part of Camila Bruce Photography, LLC, where she serves as a ceremony leader and a conduit for channeling spirit messages for women, holding space for intuitive creative healing and playful expression through photography, voice, dance, and spiritual practices since 2021.

Cami is deeply immersed in exploring the body, the earth, the universe, and spirituality through creative expression. She has a passion for learning and creating new experiences that weave her devotion to self-empowerment, self-healing and self-exploration with art. Cami offers a sacred and safe space for women to heal, rediscover, and reconnect with themselves both physically and spiritually.

Priya Daleep

Born in Colombia, Priya is a seeker of Ancestral Wisdom and a guide in the realms of healing and self-discovery. Her journey has led her to explore transformative practices across the globe, including India, Chile, Mexico, and beyond. A certified Yoga Instructor, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Shamanic Energy Healer (trained by The Four Winds), Tantric Breathwork Facilitator, Thai & Craniosacral Therapy Masseuse, and Womb Memories Healing practitioner, Priya combines ancient wisdom with modern healing techniques to help others reclaim their wholeness.

 

Founder of SentirteSana, Priya is dedicated to living a life of deep fulfillment while supporting others on their paths of self-actualization. Her mission is to guide individuals in reconnecting with their body, mind, and spirit, helping them rediscover their innate power and potential through holistic practices and sacred healing rituals.

F.A.Q's:

- How to get there:

If you are flying from abroad, we recommend flying into Bogotá or Medellín. From there, you can take a local flight to Santa Marta, which is the closest airport to Reserva Caoba.

There will be transportation from the airport at the set time to drive you to the reserve. If you arrive at a different time, transportation will have an additional fee, but can be arranged.

Please, keep in mind that the opening ceremony with cacao is at 5pm on THURSDAY, and we would very much like everyone to be there for this ceremony, as we will go over guidelines and create an energetic sacred, safe container for all of us <3

- I can't stay for 7 days, is there another option?

YES! You can choose the 3 day retreat option, with 2 extra days included for you to be able to check in and out comfortably, with enough time before we do the opening and closing circles.

​

- Do you offer payment plans/options?

We absolutely do! We have MANY different ways to pay for both Colombian and International attendees. 

**For Colombians: you can reserve with a non-refundable $800.000 COP p/p down payment. All balances must be paid 1 month before the date of the retreat (August 28th/2025 at the latest). Talk to Priya for available payment options.

**For International attendees: you can reserve with a non-refundable $500 down payment. All balances must be paid 1 month before the date of the retreat (August 28th/2025 at the latest). There are also payment options like Paylater, Klarna, Affirm, etc. that you can use.

- How to Inquire and/or Reserve your space:

You need to schedule a call either with Priya (Colombian citizens), or with Cami (International citizens),

to go over details, terms and conditions, payment options, cancellations, contract, etc. On the call, they will give you next steps for payment options and to complete your prefered lodging/meal arrangements.
